چکیده

Glycyrrhiza glabra is a herbal plant used for treatment of many infertility diseases. Its roots, common source, are described to soothe fetuses in pregnant mice, but there isn't enough research know if it's safe take during pregnancy and its effects on implantation factors. This study examines the impact growth factors betacellulin (BTC), heparin-binding epidermal factor, activin A hormone embryonic development after oral administration aqueous extract mice. In line with clinical use, an roots was prepared. Pregnant mice were randomly assigned one four groups: Two groups 8 28 weeks old treated water as negative control, aged from two 10 days, years days. On groups, parameters certain such serum progesterone Activin hormones, Heparin-binding factor (BTC) evaluated. The had substantial differences parameters.

Expression of betacellulin, heparin-binding epidermal growth factor and epiregulin in human malignant fibrous histiocytoma.

BACKGROUND Heparin-binding epidermal growth factor (HB-EGF), betacellulin (BTC) and epiregulin (EPR) are members of the EGF system and involved in the cell growth of various epithelial malignancies. There have been no reports on the HB-EGF, BTC and EPR expression in mesenchymal malignancies of fibrohistiocytic origin including malignant fibrous histiocytoma (MFH). MATERIALS AND METHODS We inv...

Heparin-binding epidermal growth factor-like growth factor is a potent regulator of invasion activity in oral squamous cell carcinoma

Heparin-binding epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like growth factor (HB-EGF) has been shown to stimulate the growth of various cell types in an autocrine or paracrine manner. Although HB-EGF is widely expressed in tumors when compared with normal tissue, its contribution to cancer progression remains obscure. The objective of this study was to explor...

Heparin-binding epidermal growth factor-like growth factor, a v-Jun target gene, induces oncogenic transformation.

Jun is a transcription factor belonging to the activator protein 1 family. A mutated version of Jun (v-Jun) transduced by the avian retrovirus ASV17 induces oncogenic transformation in avian cell cultures and sarcomas in young galliform birds. The oncogenicity of Jun probably results from transcriptional deregulation of v-Jun-responsive target genes. Here we describe the identification and char...

The expression of heparin-binding epidermal growth factor-like growth factor by regulatory macrophages.

We previously described a population of regulatory macrophages that produced high levels of IL-10 and low levels of IL-12/23. We now describe and characterize the expression of heparin-binding epidermal growth factor (EGF)-like growth factor (HB-EGF) by these macrophages. HB-EGF has previously been associated with a number of physiological and pathological conditions, including tumor growth and...

Induction of collecting duct morphogenesis in vitro by heparin-binding epidermal growth factor-like growth factor.

Heparin-binding epidermal growth factor-like growth factor (HB-EGF), a member of the epidermal growth factor family of growth factors, is synthesized as a membrane-an-chored precursor (proHB-EGF) that is capable of stimulating adjacent cells in a juxtacrine manner. ProHB-EGF is cleaved in a protein kinase C-dependent process, to yield the soluble form. It was observed that HB-EGF acts as a morp...
